Todo mañana...... and my new apartment

As per May 1st, I was suppose to move into my apartement, but as everything here in Bolivia (and especially Tarija) goes by a much slower pace than one is used to, I moved in last Monday (May 10th). Although the apartment was not completely ready (no hot water, no gas, etc.) I moved in any way. The whole week I have been running around trying to get an internet connection in my apartment, looking for furniture, push paperwork, etc. I bought a laundry machine, a stove, a fridge and a bed. Constantly, I have been chasing my landlord, trying to make him hurry up. Even today not all work is finished in my apartment and the apartment building.... but it will be "mañana" ;-)

Next week I have to go to La Paz for 5 days, for work. There I will also pick up my personal belonings at the customs department (PC, Ipod dock, motorcycle gear, PC screen, etc.) Furthermore, I will meet the new coordinator from Broederlijk Delen (the NGO I work for), who will be my contact person here in Bolivia for the next 2 years. Together we will attend some seminars on biological foods, etc. So that is going to be very interesting.

The contruction of the production plant, the delivery of the machinery, etc. is also behind on schedule. Lets hope things progressed by the time I am back from La Paz.

So hopefully, once I return, I can get an internet connection in my apartement and update my blog more often.
